OSGO is compulsory third-party motor liability insurance. The tariff is set by the state: the price of a policy is calculated by one formula and is the same at every insurer, so companies differ in service and convenience, not in price.
The sum insured from 01.01.2026 is 80 000 000 UZS (before that, 40 000 000 UZS). The tariff is set by Appendix 5 to the OSGO Rules (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 141 of 24.06.2008, as amended by Resolution No. 458 of 23.07.2025).

The published text of the appendix omits KBO (2.0) and KBM when there are no insured events (1.0), so these values are derived from the published policy prices; the calculation on this page matches those prices.
How the premium is calculated
- Unlimited drivers: premium = sum insured × base rate × KT × KBO × KS or KP.
- Limited drivers: premium = sum insured × base rate × KT × KBM × KV × KN × KVZ × KS or KP. KV (experience), KN (violations) and KVZ (age) equal 1.0 and do not affect the price.
- The premium cannot exceed five times the annual base rate.

50 % discount
A 50 % discount on the premium is granted for one vehicle owned by the policyholder. It is available to:
- participants and partisans of the 1941–1945 war and persons equated to them
- veterans of the labour front of 1941–1945
- former child prisoners of concentration camps
- one of the parents or the unmarried widow of a serviceman killed in the line of duty
- servicemen and reservists who served in the limited contingent of troops (Afghanistan)
- victims of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident
- pensioners
- persons with disabilities
