Frequently asked questions

How did the CB rate change today?

CB rate on 21.10.2026 compared with the previous one: US dollar — 12 012.30 UZS (−32.42 per day); Euro — 13 466.99 UZS (−58.03 per day); Russian rouble — 145.33 UZS (−0.13 per day).

What do “best buy” and “best sell” mean?

Best buy is the highest rate at which a bank will buy currency from you — look at it when you sell. Best sell is the lowest rate at which a bank will sell currency to you — look at it when you buy. The gap between a bank’s sell and buy rates is the spread, the bank’s income from the exchange.

Which currencies can you exchange at Uzbekistan banks?

Banks publish rates for 10 currencies: US dollar (33 banks), Euro (31 banks), Russian rouble (25 banks), Pound sterling (23 banks), Swiss franc (22 banks), Japanese yen (22 banks), Kazakhstani tenge (6 banks), Chinese yuan (5 banks), Turkish lira (1 bank), Tajikistani somoni (1 bank). Rare currencies are not available at every office — check with the branch before you go.

How does a bank rate differ from the CB rate?

The CB rate is the official benchmark, while each bank sets its own buy and sell rates, so they differ from the CB rate. The site shows the difference in percent and the spread — the gap between sell and buy.

How do cash desk, ATM and app rates differ?

One bank can set different rates per channel: at the cash desk, for ATM operations and in the mobile app. The site shows them in separate tables; a dash means the bank does not quote the currency in that channel.

How often are the rates updated?

Several times a day: data comes from public pages of banks and the CB. The update time is shown on the page and stale rates are marked. The rate at the counter may differ — check with the bank.
